Social Worker @ Your Library
The Seaford District Library and its partner the Delaware Health and Social Services Community Partner Support Unit helps library patrons with their health and social service needs every Wednesday from 1:00pm. – 5:00pm. The social worker assists patrons with ASSIST application process, applying for food assistance, Medicaid, Long-Term Nursing Care, Childcare, Home Energy Assistance, Employment and Training and referrals to partner organizations. Employment Specialist @ Your Library
The Seaford District Library and its partner the Department of Labor Employment and Training Staff will be at the library every Monday from 1:30 to 4:30 to assist you with career needs such as career paths, resumes, cover letters, exploring job opportunities, completing online applications, interviewing, training and apprenticeship programs. ESL Classes @ Your Library
The Seaford District Library and its partner the Sussex Tech Adult Division offers ESL instruction in a traditional classroom environment. Classes range from beginner – for people with little or no experience with English – to high-intermediate. Classes are free; however, registration is required. GED® Classes @ Your Library
The Seaford District Library and its partner the Sussex Tech Adult Division offers GED® instruction in a traditional classroom environment. Classes meet Tuesday and Thursday mornings. To reserve a seat in the class, please call the Sussex Tech Adult Division at 302-856-9035 and select option 2.
