Volunteers are required to be a positive representative of the Seaford District Library. A volunteer of the Seaford District Library is an unpaid position. ALL Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older. Applications for volunteers under 18 years old must be signed and returned by a parent or legal guardian. Volunteer applications will be reviewed by the Assistant Director. An appropriate staff member, usually the Assistant Director will contact the volunteer based on the library’s current needs. The contact will be by phone, email, or personal. The Seaford District Library reserves the right to discharge any volunteer from working at the library when their services are determined to be no longer necessary.
