PAWS
Read aloud to a furry, friendly therapy companion to help inspire a love of reading. Readers of all ages and stages are welcome. We are partnering with PAWS for People and local family “teams” to bring your children opportunities to read to dogs! Reading to an animal is a great experience for struggling readers; a non-judgemental listening ear contributes to confidence and excitement for reading. PAWS teams are trained in this literacy support program and work with kids in schools and libraries who are struggling or reluctant readers. Every Monday from 4:30 to 5:30. For more information please call Carla at 302-629-2524.
