Tax Assistance at Seaford District Library
Seaford District Library is committed to supporting our community during tax season. While we do not directly offer tax preparation services, we provide resources to help you file your taxes with confidence.
Available Resources:
- Tax Forms & Instructions – We have a selection of commonly used federal and state tax forms available for pickup. Library staff can assist with printing additional forms as needed.
- Online Tax Filing Access – Our public computers are available for individuals who wish to file their taxes online. Free access to government tax websites is provided.
- Information on Local Tax Assistance Programs – We can connect you with organizations that provide free or low-cost tax preparation services, such as AARP Tax-Aide, First State Community Action Agency, and other local resources.

Tax Assistance
AARP Tax Aid – The AARP tax-aid program will preparing free tax returns at the Seaford Elks Club for the 2024 Tax Season starting February 6th and every Wednesday until April 10th from 9-2. Appointments are required and can be made by calling 302-404-0077.
First State Community Action Agency (Georgetown) – First State will take appointments during normal business hours through central intake at 302-856-7761.
Laurel Public Library – will be conducting Tax Assistance every Thursday/Friday through tax season, starting February 6th.. Please call to make an appointment at 302-875-3184.
