Tai Chi there are movements that involve momentarily standing on one leg, which may improve balance; circular movements of the shoulders and wrists which improve suppleness and circulation; learning the sequence of the set movements may improve cognitive function such as concentration; the social atmosphere can sometimes forge friendships and alleviate loneliness and anxiety; and the exercise itself can boost a person's mood and alleviate depression.I s offered every Monday morning at 11:00 a.m. in the Woodruff Meeting Room. Line Dancing is a choreographed dance with a repeated sequence of steps in which a group of people dance in one or more lines or rows, all facing either each other or in the same direction, and executing the steps at the same time. It is wonderful exercise for everyone. Is offered every Tuesday night starting at 5:30 p.m. It is led by instructor Chris Collier.
